PM Modi pays tributes to APJ Abdul Kalam on his death anniversary
New Delhi, July 27 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid his tributes to former President of India, APJ Abdul Kalam on his first death anniversary.
"Its been a year since our beloved Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam left us & created a void that is irreplaceable. My tributes to this great personality," the PM tweeted.
Kalam, also known as the Missile Man of India, served as the President of the nation from 2002 to 2007.
While delivering a lecture at IIM Shillong on july 27,2015, Kalam collapsed and was later pronounced dead. The cause of his death was determined to be a cardiac arrest.
