PM Modi pays homage to Bhagat Singh on birth anniversary
New Delhi, Sept 28 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid homage to Indian freedom fighter Bhagat Singh on the latter's birth anniversary.
"I bow to the courageous Shaheed Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary," he said.
"He has left an indelible mark on India's history through his bravery," PM Modi added.
Singh, an exemplary fighter, was executed by the colonial rulers in 1931 for mutiny.
