PM Modi meets Obama

Laos, Sept 8 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday met US President Barack Obama.

He met the US leader on the sidelines of the -ASEAN(Association of South Eastern Nations) summit.

"Two democracies and a defining partnership of our era! PM meets President Obama @POTUS on sidelines of EAS," MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.

In the past two years, this was the eighth one-on-one interaction between the two leaders.
