PM Modi greets scientists on National Technology Day

New Delhi, May 11 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted Indian scientists on the occasion of National Technology Day.

"Greetings to everyone, especially our industrious scientists and those passionate about technology, on National Technology Day," his tweet read.

The Prime Minister also paid homage to scientists involved in the 1998 Pokhran tests.

"We remain grateful to our scientists & the then political leadership for the courage shown in Pokhran in 1998," he said.

Stating that the 'transformative potential of technology is immense', PM Modi urged citizens to integrate it the society.

"Let us further integrate technology in our society. The transformative potential of technology is immense," Modi said.
