PM Modi greets people of Maharashtra and Gujarat on their statehood day

New Delhi, May 1 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday greeted the people of Maharashtra and Gujarat, on their statehood day.
"On Maharashtra Day, I greet the people of Maharashtra and wish the state the very best in scaling new heights of progress. Jai Maharashtra!," PM Modi said. 
 
On Gujarat's statehood day my greetings to the people of Gujarat. I hope the state continues to progress and contribute to India's growth," the Prime Minister said.
