PM Modi expresses pain over the loss of lives in Odisha bus accident

New Delhi, Sept 10 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday expressed pain over the loss of lives in the bus accident in Angul district of Odisha.

“Bus accident in Odisha’s Angul district is heart-rending. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families and injured," the Prime Minister said.

Around 16 people were left dead in a bus accident on Friday in Odisha's Angul district, according to media reports.

The bus fell off a bridge.

Local media reported that around 30 people have been injured, some of them critically.

The private bus fell off the Old Manitri bridge, located 10 km from Athamallick, around 110 km from Angul district headquarters town, the media reported.
