PM Modi condoles death of K Viswanath
New Delhi/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday expressed deep grief over the demise of veteran filmmaker K Viswanath.
“Saddened by the passing away of K Viswanath Garu," the PM tweeted.
Modi said he was a stalwart of the cinema world, distinguishing himself as a creative and multifaceted director.
"His films covered various genres and enthralled audiences for decades. Condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti," the PM added.
Vishwanath passed away on Thursday night in Hyderabad.
He was 92.
