PM condemns J&K attacks

Hazaribagh, Dec 6 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday condemned the militant attacks in Jammu and Kashmir which had killed 21 people and said they aimed at derailing the democratic process of the country

"Yesterday, in Jammu and Kashmir,  militants performed a shameful act in an attempt to derail the democratic process of the country," Modi said while addressing a rally here.

He paid rich tributes to Ranchi’s  Sankalp Shukla who lost his life for the security of the nation on Friday.

Modi said  Jharkhand will 'remember his martyrdom forever'.

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on Dec 8, Jammu and Kashmir witnessed four coordinated terror strikes in less than 12 hours, including the one where militants stormed into an Army camp in Uri town of the state, which killed several people.

Modi urged the people of Jharkhand to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and help the state to be free from corruption and coalition politics.

"Jharkhand does not want coalition governments," Modi said.

"If politics has to be done then it has to be on development," he said.
