Permission denied to 3 Chinese journos to stay on in India
New Delhi, July 24 (IBNS): India has denied permission to three journalists of Chinese state-run Xinhua news agency to stay on in the country.
According to reports, the three journalists - Delhi-based Bureau Chief Wu Qiang and two reporters in Mumbai Tang Lu and Ma Qiang - were being watched by security agencies for several months now.
Security personnel reportedly kept watch on their activities.
Their visas had also expired in January.
Since then they are regularly extending their visas.
The denial comes after China has objected to India's bid to gain a membership in the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).
