Pakistani troops try to attack across LoC, Army foils

| @indiablooms | Dec 31, 2018, at 12:58 pm

Jammu, Dec 31 (IBNS): The Army in a statement said on Monday that it has foiled an attack which was launched by the Pakistani troops across the Line of Control (LoC) a day ago, NDTV reported.

A Pakistani Border Action Team had tried to cross the LoC.

Though the team had tried to sneak in through jungles, the Army had spotted it at the right time.

Intense gunfight continued throughout the night.

The Army, which launched a search operation on Monday morning, said the two men, who were suspected to be Pakistani soldiers, have been killed.

Search operations are underway.
