Pakistani LeT operative enters India for terror, arrested after shock hair transplant twist in Jammu and Kashmir

Indian security agencies have arrested a Pakistani national linked to the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), who allegedly entered India to carry out terror activities but later abandoned his mission to undergo a hair transplant in Srinagar.

The accused has been identified as Mohammad Usman Jatt, alias “Chinese”, a resident of Lahore, Pakistan. According to reports, Jatt was arrested earlier this year by the Srinagar Police.

Investigators revealed that Jatt had infiltrated Jammu and Kashmir with plans to execute terror strikes.

However, during his stay in the Union Territory, he reportedly changed his mindset after witnessing the prevailing conditions in Kashmir and gradually distanced himself from the terror plot, according to India Today NE.

During interrogation, Jatt disclosed that he had long struggled with hair loss and believed advanced hair restoration procedures were only available in Western countries.

While allegedly working undercover in Srinagar with another operative, Sajad Zargam, he reportedly discovered a local hair transplant clinic and decided to undergo the procedure there.

Investigators told India Today NE that Jatt remained in Srinagar for several months during and after the treatment.

Officials further claimed that following the procedure, Jatt travelled with Abu Huraira to Jammu and later to Nepal in an alleged attempt to procure fake identity documents, including a passport and PAN card, to facilitate his escape to a Gulf nation.
