Our doors are still open: Rahul Gandhi tweets on AAP-Congress alliance chances

| @indiablooms | Apr 15, 2019, at 06:08 pm

New Delhi, Apr 15 (IBNS): Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday said his party is still 'open' to form an alliance with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi party to fight the Lok Sabha polls.

Gandhi said the alliance between the two parties will ensure 'rout of the BJP' from the national capital.

"An alliance between the Congress & AAP in Delhi would mean the rout of the BJP. The Congress is willing to give up 4 Delhi seats to the AAP to ensure this. But, Mr Kejriwal has done yet another U turn! Our doors are still open, but the clock is running out," Gandhi tweeted.

The first phase of voting for the Lok Sabha polls was held on Apr 11.

Six more phases are left.

Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
