Online child abuse case: CBI searches 76 locations

New Delhi/UNI: In a major crackdown against online child sexual abuse and exploitation, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday conducted searches at around 76 locations across the country, the agency said.

The CBI has registered 23 separate cases on Nov 14, against total 83 accused on the allegations related to online child sexual abuse and exploitation.

The searches are being conducted at 76 locations of 14 states and Union Territories, including Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Bihar, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.
