Omar Abdullah meets Arun Jaitley

Srinagar, June 14 (IBNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Defence Minister Arun Jaitley met in Srinagar on Saturday as they discussed the security scenario prevailing in the state.

During the meeting which lasted for over one hour, the two leaders also discussed the current situation on the Line of Control (LoC) and borders.

The matters relating to the preparedness of the state government to conduct Amarnath Yatra smoothly also came up for discussion in the meeting.

The Chief Minister also shared with Jaitley, who is also the Union Finance Minister, certain critical financial matters relating to the development plan of Jammu and Kashmir.

Jaitley is visiting Jammu and Kashmir for two days to review the security situation and he arrived in Kashmir on Saturday.
