New Delhi/IBNS:  A man from Odisha named Bibhu Prakash Swain, who claim to believe in soulmates and true love, allegedly married at least 18 women across India before his arrest, weeks before his next two weddings.

The 67-year-old posed himself as a 51-year-old doctor on marriage websites and persuaded professors, lawyers, medics and a paramilitary officer all over the country to tie the knot.

He claimed he was on a handsome salary and used fake identification cards as well as appointment letters to support his credentials and family background.

The man was arrested after months on his trial, discovering his multiple identities, bank accounts and plans for two weddings in February and March.
