Srinagar, Apr 12 (UNI) Seeking revocation of an order issued by the state administration directing nomads, Gujjar and Bakerwals not to take their cattle from Jammu to Kashmir, former Chief Minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti on Friday said it was an insensitive decision.

However, Ms Mufti said that she had spoken to Governor Satyapal Malik regarding the issue and he assured help.

She alleged that administration in the state was on a spree of taking ridiculous decision one after another.

“Not allowing nomads and Gujjars to transport their cattle from winter zone Jammu to Valley is an insensitive one as they cannot wait until elections are over,” former chief minister alleged.

Taking to micro blogging site twitter Mehbooba, who is seeking election from Anantnag parliamentary constituency said, “Administration in J&K is on a spree of taking ridiculous decisions one after another.”

Nomads along with their live stock are migrating to Jammu during winter and return to lush green hills of Kashmir in summer.
