New Delhi: Man tries to commit suicide at AAP rally

New Delhi, Apr 22 (IBNS): A man tried to commit suicide by hanging himself from the a during a rally hosted by the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Wednesday.

The party is hosting the rally to protest against Centre's Land Acquisition Ordinance.

AAP volunteers , who were present at the venue, prevented him from committing suicide.

The man was taken to a hospital.

His identity is not known so far.

The opposition parties created ruckus in the Lok Sabha as the Land acquisition ordinance was introduced in the lower house of the Parliament on Monday.
