Nepal PM visits India, signs agreements

New Delhi, Feb 20 (IBNS) Nepal Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli on Friday arrived in India on a six-day visit and signed several MoUs in the presence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The MoUs included pacts on railway connection and power. 

K.P. Sharma Oli was given a Ceremonial Reception, at Rashtrapati Bhavan here on Saturday.

He also laid wreath at the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi, at Rajghat. 

Modi welcomed Oli on his first foreign visit as the PM of Nepal.

 
Modi in a joint address said he had a detailed talk with OIi on various issues.
 
"India's security is linked to Nepal," he said.  
 
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday received Oli, who is accompanied by a 77-member delegation.
