Narendra Modi meets German Chancellor Olaf Scholz

Berlin: Indian PM Narendra Modi, who is currently on a three nations tour, met German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at Federal Chancellery on Monday.

"Expanding India-Germany cooperation. PM @narendramodi and Chancellor Scholz meet in Berlin. @Bundeskanzler," PMO India tweeted.

This is PM Modi's first meeting with the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz after the latter assumed office in December 2021.

Modi is currently in Germany.

He will co-chair the 6th India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations in Berlin today. 

This is PM Modi's 5th visit to Germany.

His previous visits were in April 2018, July 2017, May 2017 and April 2015.
