Narendra Modi calls meeting with Myanmar President 'wonderful'

Nay Pyi Taw, Sep 5 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met Myanmar President U Htin Kyaw.

Modi is currently visiting the Asian country.

He reached the nation earlier in the day.

Modi was given the ceremonial welcome on his visit to the Asian country.

Modi said his meeting with the president was 'wonderful'.

"Had a wonderful meeting with President U Htin Kyaw," Modi tweeted.

He presented the President a reproduction of a 1841 map of a stretch of the River Salween and a sculpture of Bodhi tree.

Modi arrived Myanmar after completing his China visit.

He attended the BRICS summit in China.
