Muslim sisters should get justice: Modi

Bhubaneswar, Apr 16 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday raised the issue of triple talaq and said 'justice' should be done for women belonging to the Muslim community, reports said.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari quoted the PM as saying in the meeting: "Our Muslim sisters should also get justice."

"Nobody should be exploited," the PM said.

The PM said the society should be woken up and efforts made to provide justice to the victims.

"There should not be any conflict in the Muslim community over this issue," Modi said.

The Prime Minister attended the crucial national executive meeting of the party in Odisha.

Modi said: "The PM said all should now progress by following the path of New India."
