Mumbai fire: All trapped on terrace of Bandra MTNL office rescued

Mumbai, Jul 22 (IBNS): All 84 people, trapped in the MTNL office building in Bandra area of Mumbai where a fire broke out on Monday, have been rescued.

The blaze started around 3pm on the third floor of the building, which houses the AC plant.

The fire brigade sent 14 fire engines to the spot, which are engaged in dousing the fire.

The fire brigade used a fire robot to douse the fire.

The blaze was said to be confined to the third and fourth floors.

Local people also aided the personnel in dousing the fire.
