Mumbai beat SH by 9 wickets

Hyderabad, Ma7 17 (IBNS) Mumbai Indians thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad by nine wickets in an Indian Premier League clash to qualified to the next round of the tournament here on Sunday.

Bowling out Hyderabad for 113 runs, Mumbai batsmen reached 114 runs by losing a wickets with 37 balls to spare.

Parthiv Patel (51*) and Lendl Simmons (48) added 106 runs in the opening stand to move close to the target.

Karn Sharma picked up a late wicket of Simmons but Rohit Sharma (7*) and Patel reached the target without further damages.

The rest of the bowlers failed to disturb the Hyderabad batsmen.

Mitchell McClenaghan took three wickets while Lasith Malinga and Jagadeesha Suchith picked up two wickets each to destroy the Hyderabad battling line up.

Lokesh Rahul remained the top scorer for the Hyderabad side with his 25 runs.
