Mufti, Nirmal Singh condemn Jammu attack

Jammu, Aug 5 (IBNS) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on Wednesday expressed his grief over the killing of two soldiers in a militant attack on a Border Security Force (BSF) convoy near Udhampur on the National Highway, an official statement said.

Mufti conveyed his heart-felt sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for peace to the departed souls.

Sayed also wished speedy recovery of those BSF jawans who were injured in the incident.

Meanwhile, Deputy CM  Nirmal Singh also condemned Udhampur firing incident and said, “Anti-national elements to be dealt with sternly.”

In his message, the Deputy Chief Minister said, “These types of incidents would be dealt with sternly and the forces responsible for the same would be given a befitting reply.”

“These incidents are handiwork of anti-national elements who are hell bent upon to create disturbance in the State and their nefarious designs would not be allowed to succeed," he said.
