Modi thanks Portugese Prime Minister Antonio Costa as his nation supported for India’s permanent membership of the UN Security Council

New Delhi, Jan 7 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday thanked Portugese Prime Minister Antonio Costa as his nation supported for India’s permanent membership of the UN Security Council.

"I thanked PM @antoniocostapm for Portugal’s consistent support for India’s permanent membership of the UN Security Council," the Prime Minister said.

"Partnership being forged between Start-up Portugal and Start-up India will help us in our mutual quest to innovate and progress," Modi said.

He said India and Portugal have built a modern bilateral partnership on the foundation of a shared historical connect.

Costa is currently visitng India.
