Modi never speaks in support of the oppressed people: Rahul Gandhi

| @indiablooms | Aug 11, 2018, at 06:34 pm

Jaipur, Aug 11 (IBNS): Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said he never utters a word to support the oppressed people of the Indian society.

"All across the country, Dalits, Aadivasis and minorities are oppressed, women are gangraped, but, PM Modi does not utter a word in support of the oppressed," Gandhi said while addressing a rally in poll-bound Rajasthan.

Gandhi visited Jaipur on Saturday and launched the election campaign in Rajasthan.

Gandhi said he is confident that his party will form the government in the state.

"I want to give my best wishes to Congress workers who are working at the grassroots. This election in Rajasthan will be won by the efforts and blessings of these workers and their voice will be heard," he said.

He said the BJP wants to conduct election fast as they are scared about the results of the polls.

He said: "We will focus now on winning Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and then the 2019 Lok Sabha polls."

Rajasthan is currently ruled by the BJP.
