Modi invites Sachin, Tharoor, Salman, Anil to spread 'Clean India' drive
New Delhi, Oct 2 (IBNS): As a part of his Swachh Bharat Mission, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday invited nine eminent personalities including cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, industrialist Anil Ambani, Bollywood actor Salman Khan along with several other actors to spread awareness on his drive.
"Am pleased to invite the following to join Clean India Campaign- Mridula Sinha ji, @sachin_rt, @yogrishiramdev, @ShashiTharoor. I invite Kamal Haasan ji, @priyankachopra, Anil Ambani ji & @BeingSalmanKhan to join the Clean India Campaign. #MyCleanIndia," Modi tweeted.
He also invited the entire team of the popular TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah to participate in the cleanliness drive.
"I invite the entire team of the popular TV show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah to participate in the Clean India Campaign. #MyCleanIndia," Modi said.
