Modi hands over Bangladesh Liberation War Honour to Vajpayee kins

Kolkata June 11 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday handed over the Bangladesh Liberation War Honour to the family members of former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj was also’ present on the occasion. Narendra Modi had received the Honour on behalf of the
former  Vajpayee, during his recent visit to Bangladesh.

Vajpayee was awarded the Bangladesh's prestigious Liberation War Honour for his active role in the country's freedom struggle.

Bangladeshi President Abdul Hamid handed over the Bangladesh Liberation War Honour to Modi at Bangabhaban, the President's house, as 90-year-old Vajpayee is not fit to travel.
