Kochi/UNI: A model who travelled to Kochi in Kerala from Malappuram for a photoshoot was locked up in a lodge near Infopark-Kakkanad and gang-raped for three days by three men.

Police have arrested accused Salim Kumar (33) in connection with the incident and a search is on to nab two others, Ajmal and Shameer, sources said on Monday.

In her complaint, the 27-year-old woman alleged that she was given drinks laced with drugs and thereafter, raped by the three from Dec 1 to 3 with the support of lodge owner, Cristeena, who is also absconding.

The woman who reached Kochi on Nov 28 was invited to the Cristeena Residency on the pretext of a photoshoot by the three men.

Allegations have been raised that she was treated inappropriately by the police when she reached the police station to file the complaint.
