Miscreants throw acid on a woman doctor in Delhi

Delhi, Dec 23 (IBNS): Unknown miscreants on Tuesday threw acid on a woman doctor in the national capital resulting in causing severe burn injuries to the victim.
She was riding her scooty when she was attacked in the Rajouri Garden area of Delhi.
 
The doctor was riding her scooty while she was attacked by two men, who were on a bike trying to snatch her purse.
 
The victim has been admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. 
 
She has suffered burns on face and mask. 
 
A case has been registered under sections of attempt to murder.
