Minor fire in Odisha chief minister's office

Bhubaneswar, Apr 27 (IBNS): A minor fire broke out in the office of Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik in the state assembly on Wednesday, media reports said.

No casualty has been reported so far.

“It was a minor fire. There has been no damage to life or property because of the fire. Fire Department personnel were pressed into service immediately and we managed to contain it in a short while,” Fire Station officer Manoranjan Routwas quoted as saying by Odisha Sun Times .
“The fire started because of an electrical short circuit that started from the set-top box of a TV in the office,” he added.
