Militants kill PDP worker in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 16 (IBNS): Suspected militants on Saturday night shot dead a ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) worker in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

According to reports, suspected militants barged into the house of Bashir Ahmad Dar, in Rajpora area of Pulwama district on late Saturday evening.

“Militants fired indiscriminately after barging into the house of Bashir Ahmad Dar in Rajpor and died on spot," police said.

In another firing incident, militants fired at another person identified as Altaf Ahmad Dar near the local bus stand.

Altaf sustained a bullet injury in his leg, police said.
