Militants attack policemen in Kashmir's Anantnag

Srinagar, June 13 (IBNS): Suspected militants on Tuesday evening attacked policemen guarding the residence of Justice (retd.) Muzaffar Attar in Anantnag town of South Kashmir.

They decamped with four rifles on Tuesday evening

Two policemen were injured in the attack in Anchidora, said an official.

Earlier in the evening, at least nine para-military troopers were wounded when militants lobbed grenade on Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp at Lariyar Tral of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday evening .

According to reports, militants lobbed a grenade on a camp housing 180 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force.
