Militants attack CRPF convoy in Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 07 (IBNS) Suspected militants attacked a CRPF convoy in Bijbehara town in south Kashmir on Srinagar-Jammu Highway early Monday.
Reports said that the militants targeted the convoy near  Semthan village, resulting in injuries to seven CRPF soldiers. They were shifted to hospital.
 
Reinforcement of army and SOG has been sent to the area and a manhunt has been launched against the attackers.
 
Traffic on the highway has been stopped at Sangam and Bijbehara and a search operation is going on in the Semthem village.
