Militant hideout busted, incriminating materials recovered in Shopian
Srinagar, Mar 6 (UNI) Security forces on Wednesday busted a militant hideout and recovered incriminating materials in south Kashmir district of Shopian.
A police spokesperson on Wednesday said that following specific information, police and Army launched a joint operation at village Kungnoo in Shopian.
“During the search operation, security forces unearthed a militant hideout in a field in the village,” he said.
He said huge quantity of incriminate materials and other items were recovered from the hideout. However, he said no arrests were made in connect with the hideout. “Police has registered a case and initiated investigation,” he added.
