Man killed in explosion outside underground station in Stockholm
Stockholm, Jan 8 (IBNS): At least one person was killed in an explosion after he picked up an object in Swedish capital Stockholm, media reports said on Monday.
The incident occurred outside Varby gard station in Huddinge.
Another person was injured in the blast.
The police did not connect the incident to a terrorism act.
The object was probably a hand grenade, according to police investigator Lars Bröms, who said technical experts were examining the debris, BBC reported.
The man passed away in a hospital.
