Mamata Banerjee wishes luck to state police employee over Mount Everest expedition

Kolkata, Apr 11 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday wished luck to one of the employees in the state police department over his Mount Everest expedition.

In her Twitter page, Banerjee wished Rudraprasad Haldar and said: "Rudraprasad Haldar, an employee of West Bengal Police, will proceed on an expedition to conquer the Everest on 14th April."

"This will be the first attempt by any member of the West Bengal Police family to capture the summit,"she said.

Banerjee tweeted: "Earlier, our Kolkata Police members have done it. I wish Rudraprasad all the best in his mission to conquer the Everest."
