Mamata Banerjee condoles PA Sangma's death

Kolkata, Mar 4 (IBNS): West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Friday condoled the death of former Lok Sabha Speaker PA Sangma.

"Saddened and shocked at the passing away of Purno Sangma. Fond memories of him in Lok Sabha. My condolences to his family #RIP," Banerjee tweeted.

Former Lok Sabha Speaker and a prominent politician from the Northeast, Purno Agitok Sangma, died on Fridayfrom heart attack here.

He was 68.
