Maharashtra: Water tank collapses in Nashik, 4 dead

Nashik, Jul 2 (UNI) Four labourers were killed, when a water tank collapsed on them at Dhrvanagar in Satpur area of the city, on Tuesday morning.

According to Gangpur police, the deceased were identified as Atul Kariyar Bari (30), Sanbi Mazhar Alam Sheikh (28), Dhudam Giridhar Bhoir (31) and Anami Chandar (52).

They were staying at an under-construction building of Samrat Group, when the incident happened.

The water tank suddenly collapsed due to load of water, killing three labourers on-the-spot, while one died at Nashik Civil Hospital, during treatment. One person was also injured in the incident.

Samrat group were constructing the Apna ghar project at Dhruv nagar area of the city. Nashik Police Commissioner Vishwas Nangare-Patil and Nashik Municipal Corporation Commissioner Radhakrishna Game have rushed to the spot, police added.
