Maharashtra: Naxals kill man in Gadchiroli

Nagpur/IBNS: Naxals allegedly killed a man in Etapalli tehsil of Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district, police said.

According to police, the incident took place near Kidartola village under Gatta Jambhiya on Thursday night.

The deceased, identified as Ravi Pungati (28), was a farm labourer.

Police informed that around 15 to 20 Naxals stormed into Pungati’s house and forcibly took him away and shot him in the head, killing him on the spot.

His body was found on Friday morning on Kothi-Gatta road.

The deceased is survived by four children, including a three-month-old baby, the police added.
