Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Police on Tuesday arrested four persons, including two brothers, for offering namaz at the recently opened Lulu Mall in Sushant Golf City area.

A police spokesman said that on July 12 a video went viral on social media showing some persons offering namaz in the Mall without permission.

The Public Relations Officer of the Mall, Sibtain Hussain, filed an FIR on July 14 night.

The spokesman identified those arrested as Mohammad Rehan, Atif Khan, Mohammad Lokman and Mohammad Noman.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had taken notice of the row and told the police to act against those trying to create communal hatred.
