Lalu urges leaders of Grand Alliance to stay united to defeat BJP in 2019 LS polls

| | May 02, 2017, at 11:29 pm
Patna, May 2 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Tuesday appealed to the leaders of the ruling Grand Alliance to stay united to defeat the BJP in the next general elections due in 2019.

“Please don’t quarrel and refrain from making irresponsible statements. How can you defeat the BJP when you fight among themselves?” asked Prasad, addressing the training camp of his party.

The three-day training camp is being organized in Rajgir, a historic town in Nalanda which is the home district of Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar.

At the meeting, the RJD chief said there were no differences between him and Kumar and claimed the GA was united.

He claimed he along with the support of other secular leaders would defeat the BJP in the next Lok Sabha polls.
