Labour Minister Dattatreya says Rs 42,000 crores of inoperative EPF to be made operative
New Delhi, Oct 29 (IBNS): Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya announced that inoperative funds of Employee Provident Funds (EPFs) to tune of Rs 42,000 crore will be made operative as Diwali gift, according to media reports on Saturday.
He also said domestic labour will be provided with social security schemes soon.
This will benefit about one crore workers, he said.
