Kolkata: Women leaders of TMC hold rally over Narada issue

Kolkata, Mar 30 (IBNS): A day after the rally organised by Left Front over Narada issue, women leaders of Trinamool Congress hit the streets to protest against opposition's effort to mislead people against their party, according to media reports on Thursday.

Women leaders of TMC like Chandrima Bhattacharya and state minister Shashi Panja were leading the rally from College Square to Espplanade via Central Avenue.

Attacking the opposition, Bhattacharya said: "We demand the arrests of all people who are involved in Narada issue and the one's during whose regime these cheat funds bloomed."

All left parties of West Bengal were on the streets on Wednesday, demanding the arrests of all TMC leaders who were seen to accept money in Narada sting footage.

TMC District Committee also called a protest rally over Narada issue on Friday, which would begin from Sealdah and end at Dorina Crossing.
