Kolkata: Police arrest 7 persons accused of cricket betting during KKR-RCB IPL match

Kolkata, Apr 20 (UNI) The city police have arrested 7 persons, who are residents of Maharastra and Madhya Pradesh, over accusation of betting during IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore here at Eden Gardens on Friday night.

The police picked them up from Maidan area when they were busy betting on the progress of the match and seized 14 cell phones and other gadgets used for gambling.

The visiting RCB won by 10 runs against KKR after making 213/4 in which Virat Kohli made 100 and then restricted Dinesh Karthik brigade to 203 for 5 in 20 overs.
