Kolkata: Minor explosion takes place outside NIA camp

Kolkata, Nov 10 (IBNS): A minor explosion took place on Monday outside the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp, where the National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials probing Burdwan blast case are staying, in the Salt Lake area of Kolkata.
According to reports, the bomb was thrown at an entry gate 50 yards away from the NIA shelter.

No one has been injured in the blast.

The police is now investigating the case while the probe agency suspects that the explosion was carried out in retaliation to the recent arrest of Jamaat-ul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) suspects in connection with the Burdwan blast on Oct 2.

NIA has made some crucial arrests in the Burdwan case.

On Oct 2, a terror module got busted in Khagragarh in West Bengal's Burdwan district after an inadvertent explosion took place when suspected Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) terrorists were making Improvised Explosive Device (IED), thus killing 2 of them.
