As many as 15 fire fighter engines along with a special foam-containing engine have reached the spot and police evacuated the residential buildings nearby.
The director general of Fire, Gour Ghosh told IBNS, "We have sent 17 fire fighter engines to the spot. But most of those have been stuck in traffic jam. I'm also going there, but getting late for a huge traffic. The fire has broken out at a congested area. Two residential apartments, one school and one petrol pump are located nearby.
