New Delhi, Feb 2 (IBNS) Ahead of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) releasing its Vision Document for Delhi on Moday, its chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi posted a series of tweets on Monday morning in what she called her blue print for the national capital.

Delhi is going to polls on Feb 7 to elect a new assembly.

Kiran Bedi tweeted that she has a 10-point plan for traders, businesspersons and entrepreneurs. "Let's make Delhi's economy more vibrant than ever," she said.

She promised to remove all bottlenecks, complexity and corrupt practices in collection, refunds, filing and reporting and said until GST is implemented, simplification of VAT policies, procedures and implementation will be done.

"Company incorporation procedures to be simplified & made fully online for easy & quick setup of new businesses in Delhi. Once GST is implemented, ensure that Delhi receives fair and adequate compensation from the Centre, if required," she tweeted.

She spoke of starting single window clearance for VAT, excise and entertainment tax and extend loan facilities for women entrepreneurs.

She posted about rationalization of stamp duties and registration fees to ensure higher collection as well as leverage unused spaces to create co-working spaces for start-ups.

She spoke of encouragement to entrepreneurship via incubation support through facilitation of investment forums.

She tweeted on education and skill development as imperative in ensuring an effective return on our demographic dividend.

Besides feedback of chambers of commerce, Bedi spoke of continuous and regular dialogue with trader-entrepreneur associations.

She also promised better lighting and pavement facilities around markets and expediting of existing repair works to ensure more footfalls.

She said documentation, time and costs associated with trading across borders should be reduced and simplification of tax regimes.

She tweeted of raising Delhi’s “Ease of Doing Business”ranking in the country and world by simplifying and facilitating several procedures.

Kiran Bedi also earlier promised something for everyone in the vision statement for Delhi that the party will release on Monday, media reports said.

“It will be a vision document for all Delhi citizens, be it haves or have nots. This is a vision for Delhi 2050, this is our PM's vision,” Bedi was quoted saying on NDTV.

Addressing a public rally in south west Delhi’s Dwarka on Sunday, Bedi said that women’s security is “very high” on her agenda.
