Kiran Bedi hits the street with her road show

New Delhi, Jan 21 (IBNS) A day after Arvind Kejriwal hit the street, BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate for Delhi Assembly elections, Kiran Bedi on Wednesday went to the people in east Delhi constituency, holding a road show.

With few cars and party men following her, the former top cop traveled through the lanes and bylanes of the constituency from which she will be contesting her maiden election.

Moving in a jeep, Bedi was accompaied by was Union Minister Harshvardhan, who held this seat earlier.

Both Bedi, who joined the BJP very recently and Aam Admi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal are supposed to file their nominations during the day.

"On my way to file my Nomination in Krishna Nagar Constituency. To Serve the City which stole my heart as a 14 yrs old junior tennis player!" Bedi tweeted early today.

Kejriwal is contesting from the New Delhi constituency, where the BJP has put up Nupur Sharma, a young London School of Economics graduate.

Wednesday is the last day of filing nomination for the Delhi Assembly polls.

The national capital goes to polls on Feb 7 and the results will be declared on Feb 10.
