Khusboo to join Congress

| | Nov 26, 2014, at 10:40 pm
Chennai, Nov 26 (IBNS): Actor-turned politician Khusboo may soon join Congress in Tamil Nadu, media reported.

This was confirmed by Tamil Nadu Congress President EVKS Elangovan on Wednesday.

"Kushbu will join our party in the presence of party chief Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi," he reportedly told media.

Khushbu joined DMK, headed by M Karunanidhi, in 2010.

She had quit the party in June.

The news may prove to be a boost for the party which is in tatters after the split within when senior leader and former union minister GK Vasan left Congress announcing the launch of his own outfit.
